Packshots are standardized product photos rendered directly from your 3D model. Nova generates them automatically from predefined camera angles — no manual camera setup needed.

Step by step

Step 1: Open packshot creation

Click Create Packshot on the dashboard, or use the Create menu in the top navigation. You can also go to a product page and find packshots in the "Latest packshots" section.

Step 2: Select your product and variant

Choose which product and variant you want to generate packshots for.

Step 3: Choose your camera angles

Nova offers predefined camera angles organized in categories:

• Product High — Elevated angles looking down at the product (Front, Front Left, Left, Back Right, Back, Back Left, Right, Front Right)
• Product Mid — Eye-level angles (same directions, plus Top and Bottom)
• Product Low — Low angles looking up at the product
• GS1 — Standardized angles that meet GS1 industry standards for product imagery (GS1 Hero, A1L1, A1N7, A1R1, A7L7)

Your brand's default angles are pre-selected based on your Packshot Settings. You can always adjust the selection per product.

Step 4: Generate

Click to generate. Nova renders your packshots directly from the 3D model. This typically takes just a few moments.

Step 5: Review and download

Your new packshots appear in the Library and on the product page. You can download them individually or in bulk.
